An after-sun with urucum


We told you about urucum in this article… Now is the time to try it! In a bottle, add the following ingredients, mix and shake vigorously before use:

  • 20% oily macerate of urucum (or calendula, your choice);

  • 30% coconut oil: soothing, nourishing, soft and deliciously scented, it helps regenerate the skin after exposure to the Sun;

  • 50% oily vanilla macerate: softening, penetrating and protective, it offers an irresistible scent to the skin in addition to protecting it.


As it is an after-sun treatment, it must be applied to the skin after exposure to the Sun.

A glittery oil to enhance you


When the sun shines on us, our skin shines. Well, in theory. To help it stand out, you can also apply a delicately glittery oil. It will highlight your body as well as its natural tan . To make it, you will need to mix a certain number of ingredients in a pump bottle (preferably cream pump). Always choose a naturally scented vegetable oil , obtained by first cold pressing and organic . Here you have the choice and you can even afford to mix them! Coconut, macadamia, apricot, argan, almond, urucum, carrot … Treat yourself.

In a bowl, mix all of the following oils:

  • 2 tablespoons of hazelnut oil;

  • 4 tablespoons of apricot oil;

  • 2 tablespoons of argan oil;

  • 4 tablespoons of sweet almond oil;

  • 4 tablespoons of macadamia oil.


Add two teaspoons of carrot macerate, then 25 drops of vanilla flavoring or fragrance of your choice. Mix, then add two teaspoons of natural mother-of-pearl and mix thoroughly. For long storage, add five drops of vitamin E. Transfer the mixture into the container of your choice and remember to shake the bottle before each use.
