Turmeric has many health benefits . It is antioxidant , anti-inflammatory thanks to its concentration of curcumin , it contains vitamin C , relieves digestive disorders and helps prevent certain chronic pathologies .

Turmeric will help to brighten the skin , reduce dark circles , reduce acne , reduce impurities , restore elasticity to the skin but will also help fight eczema . It is a very good healing agent .

Why use turmeric for skin

Here is a simple little recipe that will bring your face back to life:

    • 2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt

    • 1 tablespoon of turmeric

    • 1 teaspoon of honey

Mix the ingredients together to obtain a smooth and homogeneous paste. You can now apply the paste to your face, avoiding the eye area. Leave it to act for around twenty minutes then rinse with clean water.

On the body side, turmeric being an anti-inflammatory , it is widely used to relieve certain chronic illnesses such as rheumatism , osteoarthritis , lumbago and tendinitis . It also helps relieve digestive disorders and acts on the good health of the liver .

For hair , turmeric, which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, will purify the scalp and reduce dandruff . It will reduce hair loss . Some also use it as a dye .

    • 1 large spoonful of turmeric

Mix everything until you obtain a smooth and creamy texture. Apply to scalp.

Be careful , do not leave it for more than 10 minutes because turmeric can color your hair (especially if you have blonde or brown hair).
